Cognitive Behavior Therapy
Modern CBT has the distinction of being structured and transparent.
Our journey together is solution- and goal orientated.
We will try to uncover and change your underlying problematic thought and belief patterns.
Important is how you interpret and perceive a situation.
Therapy of course does not only take place during sessions.
Between sessions you might have specific exercises (stress relief or mindfulness etc.)
or practices to work on, writing a protocol, or a diary about your feelings, practicing saying 'no'
or to observe a specific aspect of your behavior in your daily life.
I am a very interactive therapist, ask many questions and try to give constructive feedback,
to help you work actively to overcome difficulties.
My main goal will always be to help you learn to help yourself.
