About me
Introduction
I am a bilingual (German, English) clinical psychologist and trained cognitive behavior therapist
with a German license to practice psychotherapy (Approbation as Psychological Psychotherapist).
I have been working with patients since 2002 and had a private practice
for psychotherapy in Germany.
In 2013 we went on a new adventure and moved to yet another continent.
I consider myself a global citizen, having grown up and lived in Europe,
America, Asia and Africa.
I am also a mother of two and happily married.
My training
- Bachelor of Arts from Barnard College, Columbia University in New York, USA
- Master of Psychology from the University of Hamburg in Germany
- PhD in Psychology also from the University of Hamburg in Germany
- Cognitive Behavior Therapy training at the Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Behavior Medicine and Sexology (IVS) in Nuremberg, Germany
