Worldwide psychotherapy - online and in person

Psychotherapy Practice supporting adult patients with an international/expat background and patients with high professional responsibilities and elevated demands.

As a licensed psychotherapist, my specialization lies in working with individuals and couples who have international backgrounds. I offer therapy sessions in both German and English, ensuring accessibility and comfort for my patients. Whether online or in-person in Hamburg, my goal is to provide compassionate and culturally sensitive care that supports each person’s unique journey towards healing and self-growth.
With more than twenty years of experience in psychotherapy, my journey has taken me across borders, providing therapeutic support internationally. I expanded my practice to include therapy services from locations such as West Africa and the USA. Now settled in Hamburg, Germany, I remain committed to helping individuals navigate challenges and addressing their unique mental health needs.

  • Accessible from anywhere, I offer secure and confidential online therapy sessions. This is ideal for expatriates, those frequently on the move or who value the flexibility of remote therapy.
  • For those based in or near Hamburg, I provide face-to-face therapy sessions in a comfortable and private setting.
  • I also create tailored, individual therapy programs for target groups with special needs, such as executives, consultants, digital nomads etc.
  • For individuals who require a high level of anonymity, I am happy to meet at different locations.

This multicultural experience has enriched my understanding of human behavior and resilience, allowing me to offer a culturally sensitive and inclusive approach to therapy.

  • PhD in Psychology also from the University of Hamburg in Germany

My approach

My approach is compassionate, emotion centered and culturally sensitive, tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient. Together, we work towards understanding your experiences, overcoming challenges, and fostering personal growth and understanding.

Why me?

I tailor my approach to your individual needs and questions. This integrative approach helps you to understand and process your emotions while also identifying and changing negative thought patterns. I employ methods of Modern Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on identifying and challenging unhelpful thoughts and behaviors and developing practical strategies to manage psychological difficulties. This is a structured, goal-oriented approach that has been proven effective for a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress management and many more. By working collaboratively, we can create a treatment plan that is both effective and meaningful to you.

As an interactive therapist, I believe in the power of active engagement and constructive feedback. My approach is centered on asking insightful questions and providing you with the tools you need to navigate your challenges effectively. Together, we will work to identify the root causes of your difficulties and develop practical strategies to overcome them.
My main goal is to help you learn to help yourself. By fostering a supportive and collaborative environment, I aim to empower you with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage your mental health independently. I am here to guide you on your journey, providing encouragement and expertise every step of the way.
